Hi, I’m Cat – a Sydney-based twenty-something, who loves to cook, eat and exercise.
My nutritional approach is predominantly influenced by the classic book, Dr Fuhrman’s Eat to Live, as well as the many incredible blogs that provide more individualised and nuanced approaches to health. After years of incessant (obsessive?) reading of nutritional and health literature, I choose to eat and exercise in whatever ways make me feel best. In saying that, this pursuit is an evolution, a journey, and I am always in the process of learning.
Cat’s Kitchen a way for me to share the recipes that I’ve invented, improvised or simply followed along the way, and loved. I do my best to provide links back to recipes I’ve used as inspiration. I don’t copy recipes out that I haven’t changed, but if there’s something really good I’ll post a photo and a link so you can find it.
The recipes happen to be vegan, because I am. But Cat’s Kitchen is about great food, great health and a love of cooking!
I hope you enjoy the recipes as much as I do. If you improvise, I’d love to hear what you did and what you thought. And if you use them or adapt them on your own blog or page, please be nice and provide a link back to mine.
